The three picturesque villages of Stanbridge East, Frelighsburg and Dunham are linked by scenic country roads, creating a delightful circuit for exploring the charms of the region. We suggest you start with the introduction below, and then trace the three sides of the triangle as outlined below.


Situated just an hour's drive south east of Montreal and close to the American border of Vermont, the Missisquoi Triangle is easy to reach

Latitude: 45' 7'.0 north / Longitude: 72' 55'.0 west

From Montreal take the Autoroute 10 East (Sherbrooke) and exit at Route 35 south to St. Jean-sur-Richelieu. Follow the route directly and watch for signs to Philipsburg Route 133 south. Take this road all the way to St. Pierre-de-Vérone ŕ Pike River and turn left on to Route 202 east. Follow the road past Bedford to the village of Stanbridge East. Turn left from the 202 in to the village and begin the Missisquoi Triangle tour at the Missisquoi Museum located in the heart of the village.

From Philipsburg/Highgate International Border Crossing follow Route 133 north to the village of St. Pierre-de-Vérone ŕ Pike River and turn right on to Route 202 east. Follow road directly past Bedford to the village of Stanbridge East. Turn left from the 202 in to the village and begin the Missisquoi Triangle tour at the Missisquoi Museum located in the heart of the village.
